Day Eight

Today, I simply had my breakfast with some bread, because I was going to be late for class. The class started at 10:20. Thank goodness, I wasn’t late.

Today was our first tutorial class. We learnt to draw Construction Process Flow chart, contractual relationship diagram, and state the 3 role of Clients, Architects, Consulting Engineers, and the main contractor.

Our class ended at 12pm. Then, we decided to go back and have our clothes washed and dry, since the weather today is not bad. After settled down everything, we went to take a short nap.
It was around 4pm, we decided to go for some grocery shopping in Carrefour. Probably we are too sick with the food here. So, we decided to buy some bread for tomorrow’s breakfast, and bought some spaghetti for tomorrow’s dinner.

We were very hungry after the grocery shopping. Then, we went to Ajisen Rahmen for our dinner. The price of the Rahmen is around the same as the price in Singapore too. So, we did not order a lot like what we had yesterday in Golden Hans.

After dinner, we took taxi back to our hostels. We brought the stuff back into our room, and quickly take a bath so can get rest soon. I don’t know why, today I get tired easily. My stomach also bloated with air, makes me feel very uncomfortable. Luckily, I brought my “Lu Yi You” to apply on my stomach. At least, feels lesser pain.

Something special
Today, we also went to the food festival near Carrefour. There were many food stalls. However, I found that the Chinese has lack of sense of Hygiene. The road were uneven, the people throw the left over on the floor, spit on the floor, and there was one even worst. They hang a dead deer in front of their stall. How can people consume the food? I was asking myself there. The deer was dead, and the meat was dry. There must have bacteria on the meat. Then, the stall owner cut the meat in front of us, had it served to the customers after barbequed it. Oh my goodness. Next, the sound effect. The stalls owners on the songs so loud like it was a disco instead of food festival. Seems like the stalls compete against the noise pollution that they produce. Next! The worst thing – (Chou Dou Fu). They gave the bean curd a very special and suitable name. ( Yi chou wan nian). It means, smelly for the next ten thousands year. Exactly! To me, the smell was like dead rats.. Yeeeww… How to eat??

My goodness, the Chinese habits, food, and culture irritated me. It was so sick.
