Day two in China was a free and easy day for us. With lots of curiosity, we asked Lecturer Wang on the places that are popular here. Lecturer Wang was very helpful. She brought us to Carrefour for shopping by taking the public bus. The bus fare was 2 Yuan. By converting to Singapore dollars, it is relatively cheap :). However, you pay for what you get. The bus in Wuhan have lower standard compared to Singapore. Besides that, the skills of the drivers are lower and they are usually impatient. Why do I have to say so? They close the door very fast. If you don’t get out from the bus faster, you are going to go to the next bus stop.

The Carrefour here has many common shops that we have in Singapore. Shops like Nike, Giordano, Puma, and Adidas can be seen in the complex. We walked around the complex and I finally found something that I really need to buy – jackets and gloves (the jackets I brought were too thin.)

In the night, we went to a restaurant. The restaurant gave us a room. Around 10 of us were inside, including Mr.wee. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Obviously, almost all of the food is wiped off except the spicy chicken that we ordered. When the food is finished, we chat in the room for an hour, and mr.wee was sharing his life time stories with us. We had a good conversation, while absorbing the knowledge that mr.wee give us. The meal was fantastic, partly because it is treated by Mr.wee too =).
Oh Ya! This morning we also had a very good breakfast opposite our school. We went to have a noodle at the corner of the shops. All of us had a dry noodles which is very warm and nice =).
