Day Twenty One

Today, we went to visit the museum. The museum architecture structure follows the “Chu Dynasty” design. The construction is simple and has clean lines on the walls. Unlike those in Northern part, the buildings have dragons, phoenix, or other symbols on it.

In the museum, there are many ancient items displayed in the glass box. There are items like weapons which are made of bronze, huge coffins for the emperor, Paintings which have at least a hundred year old, vases, and listening to the Chinese instruments.

In the museum, what impressed me were the coffins. In the past, nobles are buried under 7 coffins, to preserve the body longer, and to show how powerful he is. However, the more impressive one is the emperor. The emperor was buried under 9 coffins; you can imagine how huge the coffin is.
